Thank you to all the applicants for submitting proposals in response to the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Call for Projects issued by the Sonoma-Mendocino Economic Development District on August 15, 2016. The District received more than thirty proposals from organizations located around the Sonoma-Mendocino region, reflecting the high level of community interest and participation in the CEDS. The District Board Members extend their sincerest appreciation to all the applicants.
The District Board met on November 2, 2016, to evaluate proposals and identify priority projects for the CEDS. The selected proposals can be found on p. 36 of the CEDS document. As outlined in the Call for Projects, priority projects listed in the CEDS could form the basis of a work plan for the District, if the District is designated and funded by the Economic Development Administration (EDA). The District expects to apply for designation and funding in 2017.
For questions about proposals, please contact Steve Sharpe (Sonoma) or Steve Dunnicliff (Mendocino).
